We are right in the middle of the slow motion collapse of all western fiat money… and most people have no idea.
DOGE has its heart in the right place, but it can’t possibly cut enough to steer us off this course.

next bubble will blow up retirement funds
This is pretty good. Where's this Ayn Rand quote from?(link is a 404 page)
"Just as a man can evade reality and act on the blind whim of any given moment, but can achieve nothing save progressive self-destruction—so a society can evade reality and establish a system ruled by the blind whims of its members or its leader, by the majority gang of any given moment, by the current demagogue or by a permanent dictator. But such a society can achieve nothing save the rule of brute force and a state of progressive self-destruction."
Could still take a few more years though...
Well, Trump is setting up another economic model, and when there is enough external money coming in to pay for a much smaller federal gov't, we'll no longer need the fiat dollar. The IRS will be shuttered as Trump's No Tax On Tips translates into, no more taxes on citizens, period. The only reason we have the IRS is to collect the tax we pay to borrow every single fiat dollar in circulation. Now DOGE is showing us how much fraud has been committed as we were forced into borrowing so many fiat dollars. Who knows, we may not really owe $37 trillion if most of it was criminally looted from us..
DOGE only has to open the eyes of the citizens to the corruption. This isn't even a political situation. It's a right vs wrong situation. Trump shuttering Agencies along with DOGE will be the shrinking of the corrupt State.
A marketplace like the green camel but decentralised.
How slow can it really be? Wouldn’t you expect a failed auction or a massive commercial real estate bankruptcy or another bout of bank failures would reall accelerate this thing?
Fiat economic land has been grinding on itself too hard for too long. Something has to break soon over there in normie land.
Isn't DOGE just a way to shift "public" over to private? I have been studying Bitcoin (not as long as everyone else here, but...) it sure does seem like this whole thing is just a clever way to make a few billionaires a LOT richer. I'm not convinced that any of this moves the needle toward a freer society. And I'm pretty sure we're still printing money.
Too great a chasm for how the world works for this conversation. “Public” has nothing to do with helping the public, that’s just nonsense we are taught in 2nd grade because that’s the only time people are susceptible enough to believe politicians and govt work for us. Then we grow up forgetting to question it despite having it so obviously disproven every day of our life.
“Public” money is money taken from us and given to the Counterfeit class. Period.
I’d start with this one:
And also, the inequality and wealth of the top 1% has skyrocketed directly in line with the amount of money directed through the govt.
That is not a coincidence, it’s by design. Thats what your “public” money does.
If you aren’t demanding the govt cut 80% and give the money back to the people, then you are swallowing their propaganda and supporting the very thing you claim to be against: enriching a tiny few, with unearned corrupt wealth stolen from hardworking people.
