I had a dream we had to go live in the cave systems. It was tight and uncomfortable but it protected us. There were instruments measuring the weather and monitoring the situation outside. They would develop strategies for which sites to search for supplies, and when the conditions were just right everyone would leave the caves to help, even the kids. This was partly just to be outside and see the sun, but everyone had jobs. The kids would be on lookout for the red rains coming when we'd have to flee back to the caves. There were monsters lurking in the distance and if they got too close we'd have to fight, they were like minotaurs.

I kept Aurora in my arms because I was so scared. She was a very good girl but people seemed to resent me having a dog there. I wasn't sure what job I could do and didn't feel helpful which was frustrating. I just tried my best.
