I've never planted garlic but it's something I want to try this fall. Looking forward to seeing how yours turns out

For the last two years I've had an organic garlic clove on my kitchen counter *specifically* to plant in the fall. My time management acumen is seriously out of whack and I keep missing it.
Also forgot to cut back the roses a couple months ago and I'm gonna have an impenetrable hedge where I don't want one...again.
I too have been late on every aspect of the garden this year. My time management with the garden this year has basically been only acting at the last possible moment to get things in, when the emotional toll of my internal monologue “you still haven’t done that thing yet” rises above “Dad can you play with us” So far I feel ok about my choices. Anybody know if it’s too late to transplant one year seedling trees? #grownostr
I've done great on my planting garlic, but I always seem to harvest late, so I've mostly used my old garlic to plant new plants rather than using my garlic much.
