Lol ribeye is a poor man’s cut. Horrible marbleization with concentrated fat deposits that overwhelm the taste of the actual meat.

I have conducted a field test today and concluded this is in fact misinformation. Ribeye is far superior in both flavor and texture to NY Strip. The fat on a ribeye is like a big block of nature’s butter. NYStrip can’t compete.
