Filet mignon sucks and people that think it’s the pinnacle of steak consumption are brain dead morons of the highest order.

Sucks compared to other steak/meat or how does it rank against this?
Strange hill to die on, but okay.
Everyone's taste buds are different, I find medium rare filet mignon to be 🤌
Yup, if done correctly and everyone is indeed different. I had a $120 dry aged (strip
i think) and was not impressed. Filet all the way. Salt and pepper with a charred crust
Same goes for ribeye.
I didn’t believe you were a spook until this exact moment. Good day sir. Tell your fellows at the agency that I won’t be falling for this particular gambit.
Lol ribeye is a poor man’s cut. Horrible marbleization with concentrated fat deposits that overwhelm the taste of the actual meat.
Many of us are in fact poor men
Ribeye makes life worth living
I have conducted a field test today and concluded this is in fact misinformation. Ribeye is far superior in both flavor and texture to NY Strip. The fat on a ribeye is like a big block of nature’s butter. NYStrip can’t compete.
No. Tell me you have never had a good steak without saying it explicitly.
Excuse sir? Is there a part of the cow I don’t know about?
Nobody stirs shit up like Magoo
finally, someone!
Skirt steak or gfy 💯
My ribeye will eat anyone’s filet mignon for breakfast https://damus.io/note1nmxnpurawlg5vn7cl507dqqw3j3ccw4pad4auj5h2m6xpfdn27cqnvwepn
I’ll take a t-bone any day over filet mignon. 🥩
Nothing beats a Ribeye 💯
Rib Eye or Chuck Steak is where it's at. Don't need overpriced overhyped cuts.
Au contraire, filet sucks from a lean animal slaughtered too young. It’s succulent when harvested from a fat, lazy, older cow. Mainstream meat production harvests bovines of one age, and for that age group the ribeye is arguably the best cut IMO.
