Guidelines in Canada state to delay clamping and cutting the cord, for the reasons Frank outlined above.

I wasn’t sure if you were referring to a change in practise for the delayed cord clamping, or pertaining to something for placenta usage.

Pretty sure in Canada they classify one minute as delayed.

Yes, I think 60-90 seconds. We didn’t clamp for five minutes for our four births. My wife was hemorrhaging pretty badly on our fourth.
