Your fingerprints aren't protected by privacy laws

Therefore don't use biometrics to unlock your phone, as you can be compelled to produce a fingerprint, unlike a pin/pass

In the US, it depends on which state you're in. At least that's how it was last time I checked

I'm not naive to the fact that they can repeal those protections or find another way to collect fingerprints, though
