Did burpees for the first time and talking hella pain, if doing the pushup at the end. It’s the wrists that suffer. So, I modified it into a burplank, no pushup. That’s doable for me. Mad respect for nostr:npub102042fmug4j86h5h47mqdfrxy5na5dmg3rxye4daxj0xc48m2f4q9s6kjf doing 100 of these a day. Yeeeouch!

Pushups torque the shit out of your wrists. Do them on your knuckles or with pushup bars to keep your wrists straight.

I can do the weight on elbow-to-forearm flat on the floor modification pushups, but that doesn’t flow with burpees. Erik has those pushup bars, and when I first saw them I thought they were “made-to-sell” as Daddy used to put it. Now I totally feel it.

5 lb dumbbells work good as pushup bars too and when you do the jump up and put your hands over your head part of the burpee with those dumbbells in your hands you're strengthening your upper body even more.
