Ive found seed+passphrase to be perfectly sufficient for an individual, and multi-sig being better for institutions

That’s my set up need to make it easy for my family! Just make sure that passphrase is longer the 27 characters just my opinion

That’s what’s dawning on me. I’ve been thinking through a multi-sig inheritance plan and it’s just too daunting.

That's the hardest part.

seed + passphrase is essentially a 2/2 multisig.

Is there an amount of BTC that would cause you to consider multisig? What if hypothetically had 1000 coins?

your specific threat model and technical competence matter more when deciding between single sig and multisig than the actual amount
