why do philanthropists do philanthropy?
We are going in circles. You cannot just change the meaning of words. If we are talking about something voluntary, we are talking about a donation, not a tax. In which case I agree with you, government should be funded 100% voluntarily. If we are talking about mandatory taxation, you cannot use the word voluntary. Either use the words in ways that make sense, or we cannot have a rational discussion. Saying nonsense and then linking long form articles that do not explain what you are saying is not a rational discussion.

I did. It describes a system of taxation where you choose how much tax to pay, and then you are forced to sell your property. if you choose not to pay you lose your property.
