Go to Big Bend, Texas, those night sky-deprived out there. It is one of the last dark sky refuges left.

I thankfully grew up on one, a ranch far from any large cities. I live close to one in Southern Alberta, and have lived and worked out there for stretches. The night sky still amazes me.
I'm glad for the opportunities it affords me. This comet was beautiful.
