Does every relationship pair have the partner that is like the happy golden retriever?
Discussion
This was me in my last relationship.
It’s her in my new relationship.
Not sure yet if it’s better to be adored or the adorer, struggling to figure it out.
Try both! Give & take.
Been a year, still miss the one I adored 😖
Then go get her
I’ve read six books, seen two therapists, and flew to Peru for ayahuasca trying to get over it, and the feeling lingers…
But the courage to have difficult conversation needs to come from her.
I’ve been ready… She is dismissive avoidant, and has never faced any challenge, she runs from it…
Do not listen to the woman telling you to go get the previous woman.
Women do not understand the challenges of men in the modern world and vice versa. You don’t know what it’s like to be drowned in dickpics and she has no idea what it’s like to chase a woman in a world of online dating.
Going backwards doesn’t work. Go forwards. Adjust your mindset; embrace being the one adored.
Whatever you do; don’t take relationship advice as a man from a woman.
I understand this… fully.
Doesn’t make it easier 😔
I’m trying…
Nothing makes anything easier and I’m not here to stroke your ego.
I will however warn you, man to man, from doing something as retarded as taking relationship advice from a woman. DO NOT DO THIS.
Go forward.
See what it’s like to be adored, maybe you thrive and it’s great but maybe you don’t and it’s horrible. Find out.
Just don’t go backwards.
Don’t take advice from *anyone*
Follow your heart. Trust your gut.
Sad the other dude is demonizing taking advice *from a woman* 🤷🏼♀️
No one was there but you. Only YOU know your truth and what’s best for you. Trust yourself.
What’s right for the logical side is not always what the heart wants.
Wish both sides could align 😖
between any to separate points on a graph there is a polarity and our nervous systems are keyed to differences not absolutes
so, yes
but in intimate relationships there tends to be a second polarity that is inverted from the initial magnetism, a girly girl and a manly man as they get to know each other learn about the hard bitch and the softie, and so on...
