If broadcasting wasn't a thing, but since it is, chances are, if you could edit posts, what you'd wind up with is everyone seeing a different version of the post.
It will be more feasible once someone changes the way relays work. It's nice how simple they are now, but it's radically inefficient.
dont think that will be an issue. the long form nip is editable
How does that allow your edit to make its way to every single relay the original post is on?
Maybe it can, I'm not familiar with it.
