Been spending the last few days just listening to podcasts about AI from futurists and thought leaders in the space.
I still don’t know if I should be excited or terrified.
Slowly trying to navigate 2023 without feeling like I am not falling behind.
I never really cared much about AI as I always felt is it was decades away in development but I feel the need to learn more about AI development out of necessity.
What's the best one you've listened to?
The Ray Kurzweil gives me some optimism about AI in this podcast.

This was good, but I realized that he’s a psychopath. Towards the end, Lex asks him about what to do after someone you love dies and he is adamant that the only way is to simulate them in a computer.
Thats why I said “some” 😅
Kurzweil is known for his almost giddy optimism though. He also would celebrate some level of transhumanism

Yeh same. I am certainty at cross roads. Do I continue my career in tech startups or do I become some kind of farmer/fisherman? 🤣

In the same boat. Never paid much attention to it nor did I want to but feel I need to at least have a decent grasp of the good tools. I think we’ll hit a plateau in terms of capabilities at some point and then it’ll require another seismic shift in a few decades (I hope).
I’m too exhausted to care about “the next big deal thing” again. I try to put most of my energy and focus on Bitcoin only.
So you are already way ahead of the pack 😉
