Benjamin Franklin: An American Life

Book of Ages by Jill Lepore is also a great biography on the Franklins. It focuses on his sister, Jane, but is about the whole family in many ways.

Added to my audible wish list. Thanks for the reco 🙌

I know this puts Brahmanism in bad light (in comparison to Buddhism), but hey, it might still be the second best religion/tradition in the world. At least they respect ascetics. Probably better than any of the remaining religions.

N.b. all those other religions are probably still better than no religion.

N.b.b. all true bitcoiners are the modern ascetics. This is not an unimportant aspect.

And it is so incredibly written. I must say, I have no idea how the author managed to pull this off. It feels as if it must have been at least the entire life's work. But he wrote other books, too. I should look into his other books, too, perhaps. But those topics interest me less.
