Better than umbrel? I saw the umbrel marketplace and they had quite a few more apps so was thinking of going that route with an old laptop but I’m open to considering nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll if there is some benefit
I've used Umbrel on a Pi for a few years and its a nightmare. Granted I haven't upgraded to the brand new Umbrel release but they released it without Wifi capability & besides upgrading Umbrel is always 50/50 on whether it will break everything & I was fed up of it happening. On top of that adding apps is a dice roll too. I resorted to using Bitcoin core & Electrum only so I can run a node and that's all.
I'm going to buy a used Optiplex or probably a new mini pc & install Start 9, it's much more stable, it might have less apps but stability is FAR more important.
