Recommendations on what?
Looking for top recommendations that you would grow for both culinary and medicinal herbs especially for zones 8-9 and why. I already grow the typical Mediterranean herbs but looking to expand out.
I don't have the time right now to focus on a garden but fruit trees and herbs are more forgiving in my climate.
While I don't disagree about marijuana I won't be growing any under the current conditions where I live

Look through there catalogue they are in southern Oregon. Lots of inspiration.
Yea this isn’t my area of expertise. I can learn from you all.
I’m more in the medicine aspect of herbal medicine. That’s why I have a lifetime to learn both aspects. Pheww haha
I'm looking to learn more for medicinal herbs too. I have a couple elderberry cutting that I'm working on growing out
Smoke herb. Ingest herb. Make herb oil. Make herb hash.
BANG! Done.
I am not but the answer is almost always yarrow 💜
Depends on the question...

Ok. First of all you will want to improve the soil the best you can with carbon. Make a load of biochar, integrate it into your soil and it will buffer everything and once you have charged and inoculated with it with microbes and fungi let me know, If you want top results that is what people are going for.
I've been learning about biochar. I was making small batches at a time before the birdhouse all got sick and haven't been able to get back out and burn. I've got to do some work with my chickens this weekend and was going to try to get some more burnt
You can use it in the chicken coop too good way to charge it reduce smell etc
Just ask away. We may or may not be able to help
