Okay, but how do you use it in practice? Do you measure something in Bitcoin from 5 years ago and then measure the same thing in Bitcoin today? Or how? Honest question. 🤔
First we have to think more about what measuring really means. Your question implies that you are thinking about converting the price of something through the fiat bitcoin exchange rate and then comparing it to a price at a different time.
I am talking about measuring value.
