Oh, one more thing. I have spent numerous hours watching flat earth videos. In fact, I was so engrossed in trying to understand the reasoning and the logic that I've taken probably an entire year looking at very little else on YouTube.

Essentially, I see the entire movement as a new type of Luddite Push back against a scientific world that's become overly complicated and too difficult to understand.

The arguments for flat earth are usually simplistic, observable arguments that bend logic a certain way that most people won't be able to detect it.

Look, I don't deny that the moon landings can be fake. It doesn't mean that everything we've learnt about the shape of the earth is also fake. I highly doubt that NASA was controlling the world back in ancient Greek times.

I'll get off my soapbox since I've had this discussion many, many, many, many, many times without any kind of impact whatsoever.
