To me, it's very obvious. If you've been around the Internet for any considerable amount of time, you should be able to see right through them. Us old men have special talents.

I canโt figure it out.
Completely filled out profile. Lightning wallet and not using Primal. Using certain keywords in notes. Using certain hashtags in notes. It all paints a picture. Too many of them and I'd wager there's a high chance they're scamming.
That makes sense. Using hashtags makes the most sense, for someone who hasnt been on nostr using a specific hashtag will loook sus.
I came here knowing grownostr, though. The podcast guy that purplepilled me specifically mentioned it and I was excited to contribute.
Iโd say itโs also possible that someone who is joining very well set up may have been assisted by a seasoned nostrich.
But if theyโre claiming thatโs not soโฆ yeah, sus.
Maybe they can make a hundred or so sats a day.

It's trivial to make bots to do this and AI for content. Non-KYC sats for free. I'm surprised there aren't thousands of these a day. Actually, I thought there would be a year ago, so I'm even more surprised there aren't now.
