For a brief time, we were "The Nostr". I even made a PR for it and nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 merged it! here's the note that started it all.
How come only "for a brief time"? If it's merged and some people use it, then it's the proper name. (At least for those users)
i guess people still refer to it as 'the nostr' but the meme died. the github repo did used to say 'the nostr' but now it doesn't refer to itself any longer in that manner.
