Try to be in bed at 9:15pm, asleep by 10 at the latest.

Wake up at 5:00am 4/5 days to work out. 2-3k steps during/after. Come home, shower, meditate, out the door for work by 7:30.

Few things in life get me as excited as my morning routine haha. I love it.

That’s awesome. Thanks for the response.

Do you have kids? I have 2 under 2.

Right now I work out when I find time. So about 3-5 times a week. Work schedule is changing a bit so I may need to do morning workouts. But boy oh boy do I love to sleep haha

I do not have kids but they are on the list for relatively near future! I am mentally preparing to have my world flipped upside down in the best way possible haha.

Any parent tips on working out and/or sleeping?

I built a gym in my garage. So deletes all travel time. That’s a massive life hack.

I recently got a Peloton and love it. Nice change of pace from my same boring workouts. I also have back issues and cycling is the best cardio I can manage.

Those are big investments so I know it’s not possible for most ($5k-$15k for the gym. $1-$3k for the Peloton). But the benefits are massive.

Wow I’m so jealous of the home gym! Definitely a life goal of mine. If you spent that much on it it must be pretty legit, huh??

I was thinking dumbbell set, bench, power rack, maybe a few other things plus the flooring, mirrors, etc. could be under $5k. Damn, got my work cut out for me haha.

Yea I went all out. Haha. I got lucky and sold my gold in September of 2020. So used that to help pay for it.

What you see here is like 10-15k. But that was during COVID when all home weight equipment was super expensive. So can probably do all this under 10k now.

Powerblocks are my favorite purchase though. They pack a whole dumbbell set into a tiny amount of space. Highly recommend.

Dang man that is legit! Love the punching bag too, that would be a must have for me.

So you’re a fan of those DBs? I’ve only used them 2-3 times but felt uncomfortable or finnicky with them?

Yea I love ‘em. Bowflex has an option as well that may feel more natural
