Replying to Avatar rabble

I just realized that on Instagram I never see any posts by friends except in stories. The feed is a mix of advertising, suggested follows, organizations I follow & viral influencer types. The people I know only show up in stories. This is how Threads works, not what we want as a twitter replacement. It’s somehow a worse nightmare than what Elon has done to twitter.

It's pretty annoying, I wanted to delete the account but it's the last social media I have that is closed and keeps in touch with old friends and family. There is no means to only show "followingL

Hit “instagram” in the top left and choose “following.” I think you have to do it everyone though. I only found this recently when I realized how insufferable the feed was.
