Might need to invest in a few old phones.

i already have been on the border of ditching the mobile phone entirely. after this shit, i'm not buying a mobile phone again while i still live in the EU.
it's notable that concurrently with this draconian imposition on mobile phone users, that almost all online services are ditching SMS verification in favor of returning to using email.
the ground is being prepared for businesses to continue to have their freedom of privacy, but the normie herds addicted to the dopamine and cattle tags are going to swallow this without even thinking about it.
i can see that the next move they will make is about locking people in to needing mobiles for essential services. the banks all seem to be doing this quite happily. the amusing thing is that actually, and i didn't think about it, but i could probably install my banking app on a desktop mobile dev simulator, and that would be the death of me using mobile phones for good.
i'm sure that these clowns think they are going to consolidate their control over the population by doing this, but us slippery fish are not gonna have it. this is also why you have to leave the cities. they will make it, in every possible way they can concoct, impossible to live in a city without one.
this is what the mark of the beast is: being tagged like livestock.
very likely there is going to be a slow descent towards greatly decreased ability to travel and use the internet inside higher density population areas.
well, this is gonna be fun because this solar max we are already seeing frequent, quite severe internet outages.
next solar max is gonna destroy the internet, probably. and that's if it doesn't also bring the solar flash that will permanently destroy all electrical infrastructure and kill a lot of people from radiation, and don't forget the cosmic thunderbolts, the earthquakes, the volcanoes, the crop failures, the infectious respiratory diseases, that likely will be weaponised further, and then ultimately, the pole shift and global tsunami.
get right with God, and you'll have nothing to fear. the angels are marking you now for protection and will be here before they achieve their totalitarian global communism. i think more and more it seems to me like a dead certainty that all macroscopic life on this planet, except maybe small fish, are going to be torched in this coming disaster, and the angels know this. they have known this for maybe as long as 10,000 years. they are using this event to extinguish the souls of the fallen ones who have made life on this planet a hell.
they can never be permitted to exit the prison they have made for us, these wardens of iniquity and violence. every place they go they will destroy it. life is too precious to leave the disease unchecked.
Discussion
i have three, and two of them are rooted
the two that are not in use developed bloated batteries by being sat on the charger pretty much all the time and never coming with me hardly ever
that's also why the new one is rooted (interestingly, i've found in recent years the phones that are easiest to root are rugged phones). the irony is that my current one every time it boots puts up a warning that the device has been rooted and "can't be trusted" when actually, i trust the device more because it's rooted, because i don't trust the manufacturers back-room deals, at all, not one bit.
i needed to root the new one so i could install a charge controller to limit it to 75% max charge so it doesn't go the same way as the previous two did. the phone is a pig ass piece of shit tho. running android 13 on 3gb of memory is abysmal. they should have shipped it with android 10 or something because that runs smooth on hardware like this. android versions keep coming out almost one every year and chew more and more resources for no visible benefit. i miss my old android 4 phone, motorola defy mini. it was great. i ran linux on it. the only thing it couldn't do was run cyanogenmod
