If you have a laptop, you might check out some of the web interfaces to see if they perform better. Since I haven't used Damus, I don't know its settings. Maybe the workaround for now is to go to the reposted post?

Yeah, I have done that. Still doesn’t work. Same thing happens in global if I’m not following. I should have specified client though. Good call.
