Frangipane!!
Beautiful
So I just googled that and came up with what looks like a lot of baked goods. Does this mean I can eat those flowers?
Phew glad I checked
"Flowers can be beautiful and delicious, but maybe stick to the ones in the garden for now! πΌπ° There's a whole world of flavors out there, but not all blooms are meant for baking. Happy exploring!"
Return soon πͺπΌ
Plumeria smells soooo good!!
I love frangipanis & have many on my property. They grow really easily from cuttings & so are pretty cheap to obtain.
The white ones with a bit of yellow seem to have the strongest sweet smell.
My favourite is a red variety but it has very little smell.
To me they just scream the topics as they don't tollerate frosts at all. In winter they go completely dormant & just look life weird sticks in the ground.
Interesting. I get some pretty cold temps at home. It get below freezing a few times a year. Other than that it's pretty hot and humid where I live. Are you saying they go dormant and come back or will they die off completely?
They go dormant even in the tropics as it gets cold.
Unless you have them in a green house you won't be able to grow them. My dad loves them & he has similar temperatures. He just can't get them to survive.
Here's the last sad little red/pink flower against some of my white ones. The red one is still in a pot as it didn't do so well in the ground & I saved it by taking a cutting.

The white ones are gorgeous
Yeah but very common around here.
I have this debilitating condition that values scarcity.
I seek out the most scarcest of commodities & accumulate them. I should get some help.
