We never buy “normal” baby food or products of any kind. This is a big part of the reason. A simple investigation of how horrific these companies quality standards and how the EPA literally does whatever they want would sober you up real fast.

The food and healthcare industries in this country are not our friends.

Ian is super dope. I keep asking why he's not on nostr yet....

I was about to ask the same thing

The easiest way is to just make everything from scratch. Even if a product is "good" the ownership can change without you knowing and so could the ingredients or production facility. For our children we have to make the extra effort.

Thankfully, it is super easy to steam and mash any fresh ingredients or cook them in bone broth.

Tastes 100x better than the baby food crap off the shelf as well.

Best practice is to make baby food yourself using organic whole foods, local farm sourced if possible. It's another good reason why women should stay home and raise children in a traditional family. Take mom out of the house and into a job? Enter big government, big food, big pharma, all will step in and replace you and your children will suffer for it.

The one big thing these big food companies has done extremely well in the last half century is convince much of the general public that it's too hard to cook for one's self. For baby food, fresh produce and meats + an immersion blender and it's surprisingly easy to make baby food from scratch.

‘Baby food’ in itself is a misnomer. Babies just eat the same healthy food as normal people should, just mashed up to be digestible. I would bake and mash up all kinds of stuff for my kids, they love it and are both non-picky eaters for it.

I made my kids "baby" food. He turned out okay.

100%

My wife and I have been using his spread sheets to shop for food and items we get from the grocery store when we can’t get from local ranchers or farmers markets.

Where can I find him to follow his content?

I used to follow him on Twitter but I don’t use that anymore because I’m living free on Nostr instead.

Best place to keep up with his content his is website.

Thank you!

Looks like he was banned on Twitter anyways when clicking the link on his site. Nostr would be perfect for him

Agreed. Fiat Food is an amazing book on the corruption in our food regulation and how unhealthy it is. And if mom is willing/able, breast milk is by far the best baby food available. Our culture makes mom's feel guilty for doing it, and totally downplays the significant benefits.

they guilt trip the moms because they want them to stay at work all day, they want mothers to consume and pay taxes endlessly, and some children breastfeed for years, sometimes 6 or 7 (which is an obstacle for women to be slaves of megacorp and gov).

They want to cut the mothers from their children and don't care if they poison them to do it.

Home made is best.

Babies need their food salted.

Adults(say a 60 kg woman) need 2 teaspoons of salt a day. So a 10 kg infant needs 1/3 of a teaspoon a day.

If babies don’t get enough salt they can get constipated and have trouble sleeping.

Also they will crave salty foods like cheese, tinned fish, potato chips and crackers.

This is crazy. The big corporations don't care because they can get away with anything. We must stop buying from the mega corporations.
