I have more Bitcoin than you ever will, fren. But I have a lot less cynicism.

Your response is exactly what I would expect from someone obsessed with politics & party.

So you are cynic and are ok with Republicans inserting their big intrusive government into our bedrooms. Not me.

I haven't voted in a single election & I don't plan to anytime soon.

So tell me, have you been voting blue these past election cycles?

Have you promoted the ideology of the dem party?

Not cynical at all, 100% truthfully disgusted by party politics & the people who give it life.

It’s clear you should not vote, given your hatred of the system we have. I choose to vote, every time. The system works reasonably well for me and I have a great life here in Minnesota. Thanks to people here who, like you, refuse to participate but nevertheless complain, my vote counts double and more, so thank you for not voting. Stay home and continue to complain how the system doesn’t work.

I participate every single day,

I moved to an area that suits me politically at the local level & am creating economic production in that area.

I'm voting with my feet & my dollar everyday I decide to accumulate a tax burden in my locale.

I refuse to enter into a debate that no one is having in Ernest.

You wouldn't vote for a Republican candidate no matter who he was.

That's not an election anymore, it's a pledge of allegiance which is socially coerced & bullied into you - aka a practice of facism.

Why do you think both parties accuse the other of facism?!

BECAUSE THEYRE BOTH APPLYING ITS PRINCIPLES , JUST CHERRY PICKING WHAT THEY THINK IS IMPORTANT TO IMPRESS ON EVERYONE.

mark twain and HL mencken had a lot to say about the folly of democracy

my personal take on it is that only those who have stake should get a vote, or else the vote becomes reassigning the stake

Who has a stake and who doesn’t, in your world view?

it's very old and well established principle of law:

Sacrifice is the measure of credibility

if you have something to lose, you have a stake

you'll need to do a lot more study of jurisprudence to really understand why giving votes to people without anything to lose is fraud

yes, you maybe have something to lose

but you're up against thousands of people with nothing who envy anyone who has anything at all

The MAGAs are certainly trying to steal the vote away from those who don’t worship Donald Trump. How many MAGAs have a property stake is unclear, however, as they mostly seem like fearful dimwits to me.

However, they won’t succeed, and I don’t think your vision of stakeholders-only voting, however defined, will ever apply in this country. We aren’t going back.

nope, you are going to the flames, enjoy

it is a total illusion that your vote has any influence

whatever position you have, is already counted

it's only when you can be persuaded to change sides that you matter to the politicians

the noose will just continue to get tighter, if karamela wins this time, maybe you won't have your CBD in your town burn down but half of the shops will close due to being bankrupted by new taxes and regulations

if trumpy wins, the armies of masked hooligans will be unleashed to burn down these businesses anyway

either way, you lose

I mistakenly thought we were having a reality-based crisis intellectual exchange but now you’ve said something insane and I have no idea what you’re talking about. Good bye.

Did you vote for Biden? If so I hate you because your vote caused wars to flame globally.

So if it matters, take responsibility instead of trying to pin everything on the other party.

at some point if people are gonna let themselves get funneled into the slaughterhouse corridor you gotta just let go of it and get on with your own survival, and that of your family

i hear people talk about teh idea of "standing your ground" but this is utterly ignorant of the historical facts - that ground gets stolen by organised gangs and very often lives are lost pointlessly trying to defend it when the rest of the world is not as violent as the situation on the ground under your feet

for most of the USA i'm not saying leave, just move away from the cities

sure, many country towns are plagued by drunks and drug addicts but the dangers from organised political action decline exponentially in the absence of population full of dupes to coerce, or make sullen and resigned, to attack the political enemies, which are basically the productive people

the whole game is sickening, and participating in politics is condoning it

Let’s end on a note that we can agree on. You’re correct, there is no universe in which I would vote for a MAGA Republican.

Barack Obama 🍆, how does it taste?

But you choose to be a Communist... Exactly the same thing. Good luck

See, you discredit yourself in laughable fashion due to your use of communist for anyone you don’t like. I am laughing at your ignorance. Communism is a specific thing. You might look it up.

Okay... Good luck with your government. I'm sure they'll help you.

elections are pre-sales for what the government is going to steal from someone else to give to you

hl mencken probably, maybe mark twain

As always, I will be voting. You do you.

you do stupid, be my guest
