If the price of sats went up to $100 USD for 1000 sats, would you pay it?

sure - but I'm hoping that there is still some time left until that happens ;-)

Yes

It would depend entirely on the relative real value of each. Wouldn't surprise me, our current USD valuation might as well be random numbers anyway. IMHO.

Sat to dollar parity

No. Wouldn't be worth working anymore. I'd live the rest of my life spending the sats I have.

I would liquidate 0.007% of my sats to pay off my student loans

Math error. 7% of my sats. Still worth it.

Doxxed your stack on nostr, no take backs now

Thought about that. You don't know what my loans are. No way to know my stack either. Just their proportion, I guess.

hopefully by that point I'm getting paid in sats and I don't have to interact with usd much. so I wouldn't care.

Nope. It means 1 BTC is 10 million $. One has to stop buying somewhere.

If that's all it takes to double my stack.. hell yea!

If my intent was to use it as a currency, yes. who cares what the current value vs usd is if you can use it buy things of equal value.

1 usd about 100 yen, conna convert my money if it makes it easier to buy stuff.

It’s not a real question.

If I still had any worthless paper either in cash or digitally and someone was willing to exchange something worthless for something of real incorruptible value, hell yes I’d happily liberate any fool, willing to sell, from his Sats.

It’s akin to asking if I’d swap a couple of buckets or unusable dirt for a house. The answer is always going to be YES.

The conscientious person in me hopes that I’d never find a person willing to make that trade but the very fact that $1000USD can still buy me 100Sats indicates those lazy fools still exist.

Yes on a Bitcoin standard we sweep extra cash flow into treasury reserves, doesn’t matter the price if it’s your default reserve asset. It does feel kinda crappy when you can barely add 1% to your overall stack though lol. Get those sats while they’re cheap! That $1 CAD still buys 2750 sats is a gift.

When 1000 SATs = $100 USD, we'll be earning and spending SATs, not buying them. If not, find a better way to make money
