At the time when the Bread Zine came out, somehow I mention to nostr:npub18ams6ewn5aj2n3wt2qawzglx9mr4nzksxhvrdc4gzrecw7n5tvjqctp424 that I’ve never seen a Bitcoin meetup near me.

Derek replies and says that he is actually coming to a meetup 20 minutes away from where I live to get a bread zine from a local bitcoiner who saved him a copy the same weekend.

And I end up sitting with a group of people I’ve never met before was also my first time meeting Derek. I really don’t remember all the names and faces from that meetup, but anyway, I end up going to all the monthly meetups after that.

Now I meet with this group monthly, sometimes even more. Really fascinating turn of events.

What was an innocent note on #nostr , somehow changed my entire social dynamics over the last two years.
