Garden News:

The first flowers on the tomato plants have opened. Both were on the Super Sweet 100's.

I found two pepper fruits. One is one a Jalapeno and the other is on a Cherry Hot.

I found one of my tomato plants dead. After further investigation I found a cutworm. 😞

Love those supersweet 100's, best cherry tomato producer I've found yet!

I didn't use to be a fan of cherry tomatoes. I used to like big slicing tomatoes...well I still do, but I've become a bigger fan of cherry tomatoes in the last few years.

Do yourself a favor and pick off all flowers until the third truss. This ensures a strong vine/root for additional fruits. Also, supplement potassium after third truss to increase fruit set.
