We just had our first #GitCitadel quarterly project meeting this morning. It was great to hear each other's voices after text chatting about the project on and off Nostr every day for several months.

We've got some exciting things on the way, but the running theme of the meeting was Stability. Our project supporters want it, and we think Nostr desperately needs it. Reflecting that theme, our testing strategy for Alexandria and Aedile was our biggest point of discussion. FOSS code is cheap, but reliability is valuable, and reliability is what we'll deliver.

Our first priority for Q4 is to deliver an alpha version of Alexandria with basic writing and viewing functionality for people to begin to explore. Once y'all have a chance to try it out, we'll begin to collect feedback and determine what features to prioritize next.

As Alexandria begins to mature, we'll turn some of our attention back towards Aedile, our Nostr Development Kit. Aedile will be a fast and reliable product built by developers, for developers, and we're excited to give it some attention again.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us thus far, and stay tuned! I'm stoked to see what our team can create.

Was I awarded worst team-player ever in absentia? Sorry I missed it would have been nice to meet everyone.

No awards were given one way or another 😆

Bummed you couldn't make it! Hopefully we'll catch you next time!

Should probably do it more often, even if it doesn't have the weight of a quartly meeting, if the after meeting was any indicator of how it went 😆

I'm sad I missed the after-party. We should chat more often.

100%

I'm mostly sad that I missed the AOE2 tournament that is now (as of this note) rumored to have happened.

We are happy to have you, nostr:npub1w4jkwspqn9svwnlrw0nfg0u2yx4cj6yfmp53ya4xp7r24k7gly4qaq30zp We know you're really busy, right now, but we're not going anywhere, so drop by our Slack. 🤙🏼

Our QA plan looks like so

- unit tests (of course!)

- server and relay monitoring with public results page

- load-testing thecitadel relay, to make sure it can handle importing the hundreds or thousands of events in a modular article, by multiple npubs, simultaneously

- Full Selenium multi-path test, and Behave gherkin tests for #Alexandria features, running hourly, in various test environments

- whitebox alpha testing round, first from nostr:npub1356t6fpjysx9vdchfg7mryv83w4pcye6a3eeke9zvsje7s2tuv4s4k805u and nostr:npub1q6ya7kz84rfnw6yjmg5kyttuplwpauv43a9ug3cajztx4g0v48eqhtt3sh, then from all of you, who offered to help us test 🥰

For Aedile, we will be using gherkin scenarios to test the NIPs implemented.

We have a Jenkins and we know how to use it. 😎
