Use syncthing. Never have to worry about dumb stuff like that.

I do! Extensively tbh, it's my go to backup solution 🩷 syncthing is one of the best pieces of software I know. But that file was in a non-synced folder 😅

Yeah I could move it... Still not satisfied with the defaults

Linux and Android are so close but so far, and I get it... But dropping a copy of a pdf into another folder just makes it easy! 😅

I would like it so that I can just connect my phone to my steam deck and I can transfer stuff. End user comfort without thinking about syncthing etc (for the record, my steam deck runs syncthing too 😂)

Syncthing is even better with #NixOS 😁 all my nixos devices are written down in config, so I don't even have to set up folders again when reinstalling. Keys, devices and folder IDs hardcoded and backed up. Install once, never repeat 💜 this step significantly leveled up my syncthing use 🤙🏻
