If the nostr marketplace gets built, how would you verify that the seller has the item and/or will actually ship the item without an intermediary?

I was wondering this: could such market place become another silk road and if so what would be the implications for Nostr?
Reputation seemed to be everything on there. Biggest problem is that it excludes smaller sellers of regular stuff more like Facebook marketplace. If this is your first item for sale people will avoid you more than likely
