I agree on the video thing, but except that I paid $144 for a yearly subscription from Runway and still only got 3 fucking generations and my credits were spent. And for something where credits don’t roll over, I am getting like 10x for the money on PPQ. But if you have a solid and consistent use case for video generation, it’s very likely to cost you less if you get a subscription. But if you are doing a handful of one off generations or just exploring stuff, PPQ is definitely the way to go.
In other words, anything very specific that you use a ton of, is going to get you a better deal with a subscription. But if you aren’t sure or only use things every few months for single projects or tasks, it makes little sense to pay constantly for those services.
