Having a lot of degrees does not mean you are smart.

Having no degrees does not mean you are dumb.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

degrees are proof of discipline if anything

maybe there's a better way to put it

like the ability and proof of work to consistently work towards a specific goal

not saying that you couldn't do it without uni, just one way to go about it 💜

Sure that's true but on the flip side of that coin is proof of indoctrination

you can use that argument regarding any piece of content that you consume

Proof of scammed

proof of your inability to debate and being indoctrinated of the anti-university agenda, whilst being unable to see and discuss any other perspective than your own

thank you for not going to uni, the uni folks thank you

Who needs uni when you're a pro golfer lol

I actually quite like this.

I don't think it should be about shaming people who have degrees, want them, or worked hard to earn them - nor those who’ve built a path without one. Both are valid.

Being Edu-macated cost you your health the last few years. Discernment and common sense are very underrated.

Having a lot of degrees makes you an angle.

Having no degrees makes you a point.

depends on whether it's acute, obtuse or convex (a divot or a hole)

Degrees sha na na na knees…

you're welcome

Gm, sadly, I missed your TED talk. Might there be a recording you can share?

Thanks you nostr:npub1cj8znuztfqkvq89pl8hceph0svvvqk0qay6nydgk9uyq7fhpfsgsqwrz4u 👍

Having no degrees does not mean you are smart. Having degrees does not mean you are dumb

It doesn’t mean you’re dumb, but it’s certainly a much higher probability that you’re retarded without any form of degree or certifications.

Education it's not intelligence..

Troppo spesso si dimentica questa cosa

Yeah but what about a WHEELBARROW OF DEGREES

A WHEELBARROW OF DEGREES is outside the parameters of my model… will need to reevaluate.

Hyperinflation indeed

I’m always skeptical of too many degrees. 1 or 2 bachelor degrees, a masters degree, and a terminal degree is as many as I’d trust…after that it screams instability or fraud.

I have no degrees but I’m kind and generous 😂🤙

I have 4 and they’re all kinda irrelevant to life outside of work.

My brother is an academic and he believes in all the Climate / Pandemic BS. Why ? Because scientists told him. He is sold on people with degrees being the arbiters of truth. Yet I with no degree see through it. It’s a funny old World 🤷‍♂️

Anyone claiming they know with certainty that we must do x to avoid y at time z regarding climate is a ridiculous charlatan. But the crazy claims tend to come from the interplay between governments and scientists…each side says ½ of the ridiculous.

Experience makes you smart

it is true.

It could just mean you have skill to learn, be curious, memorize, understand things you read, analyze them, criticize them, explain them to other and add you point of view.

It is not about smart, but having some skills.

And it is a good think people have different skills.

Being all the same, would be boring and would not produce any debate and humanity couldn't progress or change.

Thanks for this vision.

Universities are a propaganda snag. You learn a lot for charity but you learn what they want you to learn. Independent and personal study makes you explore concepts that are taboo at university

Well said! Agree!

True but education should give you a methodology to think, analyze and criticize information.

Lots of people forget it or even pass their degrees without assimilating the appropriate method because they are evaluated more on the knowledge rather than their thought process.

Degrees are not important, being educated is.
