I understand that if I put 1000x more effort in, I might arrive at a place where it's less boring.
But social media is not my job, sorry
Nostr is not social media. Kind 1 clients (twitter clones) are news apps. You open them up and see what's happening now. You filter that news in a number of ways, like following other users or lists (or lists created by other users), muting, creating feeds with dvms, build your own client, etc.
And a lot of clients add much more like nests or stream integrations, all because people built what they wanted to see. Because they could. If the app that you're using doesn't do a thing that you've heard about, try to find out which client does. Its ok to ask for help, but demanding it... lol. There's no customer service here except for maybe nostr:npub18ams6ewn5aj2n3wt2qawzglx9mr4nzksxhvrdc4gzrecw7n5tvjqctp424 or nostr:npub1zafcms4xya5ap9zr7xxr0jlrtrattwlesytn2s42030lzu0dwlzqpd26k5 .
I saw someone post earlier along the lines of "if you're a bitcoiner then you're probably a DIYer and you can figure this out too"
