Love these things. I use an Intel NUC 11 i7 as my home theater PC.
Mine is only an i5. It is only for btc and ln node nothing else. Being a dedicated piece of hardware this is still over kill but should do the job for a few years I hope

Yep. Just need to work out now whether I want to nuke the install I just did and actually use a vm. Can copy the sync I guess so don’t need to down load it again. Just a newb to vms. Do or don’t I ??
Great! How did you backup your old node? Turn off and copy the Lnd folder? 😃👍
No haven’t done that yet. I wanted to flash up a whole new node and run for a while to make sure it’s all good. I will nuke it all after a week or so and then try to copy over. Haven’t decided if I’m going to Run umbrel or start 9 and or run that on host os (Ubuntu) or use a vm. Still learning.
Again I will do a mock up test run of a few channels to test my final configuration before I change over. Steady as she goes
