Electron?

nice!

cooo but just like the lightning wallet no one cares

hey what is it? like a chatgpt but hosted on local machine?

Will have a Look. Interesting.

I appreciate you, you released the Linux app before the Windows one. 🤩

What LLM do you guys use as the base? I hope it's not one that's using Common Crawl, since that's disgusting slop (and plagiarized to boot).

Llama 3.3 70B. Currently exploring other models to give users options.

That sounds like a Common Crawl model, which is not a good dataset to use AI on. At least it's "open-source" (It's ethical source, let's be real here).

Maybe I could interest you in taking a look at non-Common Crawl models like DeepSeek R1 if reasoning modeling is being planned?

R1 is one of the models we are exploring (R2 might be out soon too)

Is it an LLM chat bot or what?

yep. a private, encrypted AI chat bot

Amber / nostr login would be good

What are the system hardware requirements to run the app?

Listed on the Download page.

Currently they are:

macOS

For Apple Silicon and Intel-based Macs running macOS 11.0 or later.

Linux

For Ubuntu 24.04+ only. Other Linux distributions are not officially supported.

No need for a GPU because all AI activity is handled by secure, encrypted GPUs in the cloud.

Thanks for making the Linux app so easy
