People who think that simply using Graphene solves all of your privacy concerns are so wrong it hurts.
That’s only true if you don’t use any cloud backup, you hardened your WiFi network, and you don’t use any closed source apps

right, that's how many of us use it..
It is ridiculous to live without cloud backups. Do you seriously not have any banking apps, non Nostr social media, exchanges, Gmail, games, google maps, etc on your phone?
correct.
I have a couple banking apps on a separate user profile.
I have a personal, self-hosted cloud backup + Syncthing.
I don't use any non-nostr social media.
I don't have gmail on this phone, nor Google maps. 1 or 2 open source games.
It's really not a problem. If I need Google maps desperately I can make sure my VPN is on and access the website. _websites still exist, yaknow?_
Well you are 1 in a million in this regard.
Most people either cannot or will not go to these lengths.
Also try OsmAnd. It uses the Open Street Map, it’s not perfect but it does the job and you can use it offline. It’s on F droid and the play store, but if you download on f droid you get the paid version for free
You can setup cloud backups too. But honestly it's pretty easy to backup to a USB pen (or two).
You're spoiled, friend.
