Any plans of incorporating some type of auto backup for users so its easier on a user who faces this issue of follower lists being nuked.

Plans? Sure. There is an item in my to-do list for this. But it has been there since January. :(.

Good to hear its on the list and on the radar. Feel like it would be a great feature as I have encountered many users who have had their lists nuked before.

I was hoping that an Account-managing client would resolve this better than Amethyst, but maybe we will have to offer something as well.
