I've not seen the price that high in a while
I want to say it was pretty high when Binance was doing all that consolidation work in November.
The price seemed to take off price a few weeks with ordinals but 1 s/b transactions were getting in when I looked about a week ago.
Might just be time of day variance
Yeah, the ordinals thing bloated the mempool a bit. I want to say whatever the hell Binance did (I heard it was almost like a proof of reserves flex after the FTX debacle) had like 140 blocks backed up. Obviously fees increased substantially in that instance.
Back up to 60 blocks in the backlog? More ordinals or what?

I especially enjoy seeing the transactions being efficiently arranged into each upcoming block.
Mind-boggling that this system runs autonomously, 24/7, through a beautifully conceived incentive structure.
