I'm never shilling a fucking wallet again. Everyone I've onboarded has had to migrate like three times 😭😂

Zeus and Alby Hub are the only hopes RN.

Zeus needs to get way easier for normies and less error prone.

Alby Hub seems right over the target for making an easy to run lightning node for all platforms, but will be beholden to the same issues as mutiny if they ever decide to shut it down, LN address and 'account wise'.

Phoenix needs to open up their app to selfhost the LSP and launch in USA again.

At the end of the day though, I think the only people who won't get rugged are us node runners. My raspberry pi that everyone shits on has run a successful and reliable node since 2019. RUN YOUR OWN NODES

Agreed!! Lightning is kinda of a mess right now. It’s because of the regulations.. they don’t want to be labeled as a money transmitter and all the BS that comes with that

Holesail (liveport) and Zeus will be a game changer

Government pressure and lack of income ... Running a node for lightning really doesn't pay much. Governments will consider all mutinies as money transmitters

It's been coded and code is there if it's ever needed. That's the good side of this

Same lol

But my node also rugged me with a dead ssd at 200sat/vb😂

High risk to use a single drive solution, especially one that doesn't have it's own power supply

True, had a UPS but the SSD just died. SCB saved the funds but force closures were pretty expensive. Raid would have prevented this

Yeah one of the problems is that the Raspberry Pi's USB ports don't have enough power to support constant running drives, so even if your power doesn't go out, the Pi's USB port can fail to have enough juice.

I'm a huge fan of this drive enclosure that I'm using with my Raspberry Pi. It has a seperate power supply, hardware RAID, while still outputting USB compatible with the Pi. Also it increases speed of read / write greatly when distributed across multiple SSDs

Coinos.io easiest for onboarding

Blixt is the lightning 🐐

It’s almost like the only thing we can be totally confident in for a long timeframe rn is sats in cold storage validated by our own nodes 😩

Keep feedback coming, explore and experiment! We are open for OSS contributions and thanks to decentralized effort we will all win this game! ✊
