as painful as it is, and as isolating as it is, people arrive to petitions and sign them when they are responding to a calling because their values align with the words. i am sorry that you are experiencing painful feelings and your friends are not there to share that pain and see things as you do.

if i hadnt been under the weather today, i would have followed thru with my plans to see 'the voice of hind rajab' in a local theater before going to a vigil for renee. i wasnt at either. i was in bed. but my heart wished i could be there.
