I have no problem muting some random spouting stupid hateful shit. what hurts is when a person that you had cool interactions with turns out to be a bad egg.

Having this happen enough times that I no longer feel confident recommending my following list to people even though I extensively vet everyone before following them.

I often just put those in "mute time-out" because they're sometimes just ranting and saying stuff they're probably going to regret later, when they calm down. Autistic meltdown or something.
But some come out of time-out days later and are back in 10 minutes later. π Like, can you not have a normal convo for 10 friggin minutes? π€¦ββοΈ
