Realistically, how much bitcoin is enough?
Discussion
How much “savings” is enough depends upon lifestyle, where you live, and what kind of legacy you’d like to leave.
More.
At this stage, 77MM sats sets you up decently.
All, but one. Leave one sat to tell the tale.
The more you accumulate, the more margin for error you give yourself and/or a shorter time frame of realizing your goals.
Enough today is much different than enough for “retirement.” I plan to stack enough that I’ll own my time completely, yet will be able to endeavor in worthwhile pursuits without the need to earn from my work.
This is me.
Saw post earlier about emergency fund. Same boat in more ways. 3 kids single income household here as well.
Emergency fund is somewhat useful. More important to have life insurance and ltd to supplement income in case you are injured and cant provide for family.
All about managing risk to some degree.
Keep stacking and raising them right!
There is no correct answer IMO.
This depends from 2 main factors: Space and time, when and where.
Realistically for the rest of our lives we will be exchanging the fiat we earn at our jobs for bitcoin. And when that is no longer possible we will exchange our time for bitcoin. So in my mind, stacking large amounts of bitcoin now doesn’t make you greedy. You are just doing the right thing. The same right thing that you will be doing 20 years from now.
