What do you mean by circumvent? They can't break encryption and they can't stop you from using it.

They can scan/log EVERYTHING Pre-encryption.

That's the point of the "AI" chips in all the new Mac silicon and Google's tensor chips, and MS is pushing that into new PCs to run their gross AI BS.

You could stand to learn more about client-side scanning. This is getting pushed through to "combat CSAM" and "keep children safe." that's a very shallow pretext for scanning literally everything you do all the time and coupling it to the always on BLE network (even if you turn your phone off, the BLE system keeps doing its thing).

So, it doesn't matter if you are encrypting comms if everything you do is known before it is sent off the device.

They're going to do that anyways. We don't have to use new devices. Privacy is something you must elect to maintain. You can not expect to have it by default just because it's a natural right.

bare metal builds/time to recycle/diy few to start the trend! imho/ or hit Dimi & likeminded up

You will eventually have to use new devices in order to verify you to be able to use whitespace networks.

You cannot expect to do what you do how you do it in perpetuity.

If it means the difference between privacy and no privacy, it is your choice to make. But you absolutely do have a choice. Laws against it will not protect you. No one said the road to sovereignty would be easy, and you should not expect it to be.

Yes. I agree. Once things progress to that point, I'll just stop using tech even if it means going dark.

Precisely. I imagine there will be a good collective of people like you and me that will consider relocating to be geographically closer to each other as things progress (or regress) towards a mass survalence state. The Amish have been living this way for quite some time and actually thrive by some metrics. I think there's a healthy middle ground between ultra advanced mass surveillance state and the Amish of course. You don't have to stop using tech completely. Nothing wrong with my 98 Chevy 🥰 Small block 350 will live nearly forever.

Yup. That's a definite possibility!

where can I read/watch more on the use of BLE and scanning in this context?
