I'll admit... this is as far as I got in my quest to pivot from industrial engineering to software development.
As long as it's properly documented, don't sweat it.

This will honestly never be me as a software engineer. Either because I'll never be a software engineer, or because my paranoia will make learning software engineering such a slow process that I'm a seasoned veteran by the time I reach beginner level.
