Amor fati is the most liberating concept I've ever encountered, and it goes so much deeper.

It's not just about accepting death or believing in destiny. It's about wanting all of reality, even if there is no fate, no death (to escape suffering), no meaning or any other form of influence you have, but an eternity of "this is how it is and you can't do anything about it.“ (see idea of eternal recurrence and heaviest burden)

But not only to accept this, but to want it, even to love it. This is Nietzschean freedom.

Why would I want that? Because it's the only way. What is the alternative to becoming who you are? There is none.
