The NCAO Nostr's Chief Android Officer has 141 reports. I looked through them and most if not all seem to be spam bots.

In oder to stop spam and spam bots A solution to implement would be if you want to report someone's post. It should cost 1 Satoshi or more.

Who gets the 1 satoshi go to? hmm that's a tough one.. the Relay or the Amethyst developers? I'd have to think about that more.

Either way. It's a good way to stop spam and a good way to stop bots from abusing the report function.

It's interesting to see how Nostr is developing and the solutions and ideas they will implement to stop spam.

I believe charging Satoshi for features like sending someone private messages or making a report will effectively stop spam and people from abusing the system.

There is only 1 feature that will stop almost any spam and that is MONEY.

Spammers and even normal users will always stop and THINK about what they are doing if it will cost them money.
